(no subject)

What a wild week.  Now we're sick.  Except Nicole.  Who is, by the way, the only one who didn't get her flu shot.  This isn't related.  It's just true.  Woman never gets sick.  I don't get it.  Anyway.  I should be thankful because now she has to take care of the three of us!

Brenner woke up early from his nap yesterday at the babysitters completely hysterical, feverish, covered in snot and tears.  I rushed over to get him and found a toddler with red-rimmed eyes, sniffles and sneezes.  When Brooks woke up, he was sneezing too.  What a week.  I already feel like my attendance at work has been flaky this week (at best) and now I'm taking half a day (morning) to let Nicole work half a day and I will be going in this afternoon.  And by 'going in' I might mean signing on to work from home.... but my To Do list is on my desk at work because yesterday when I left I thought I'd be back in the office today.

Alas.

Luckily some of the looming things I remember and I already signed in this morning to get the ball rolling on a couple of things.  

Being sick is NO fun.  All this back and forth with the weather and the official start of cold and flu season, it was only a matter of time I guess.  Ugh.
