(no subject)

I am at Panera working on school work before 8:00 AM on a Sunday. I feel so official with all my school books and coffee scattered all over the place. And this laptop. The last time I was in school, we went to computer labs. Wifi wasn't even understood and all that available until my senior year. How weird that I can not only work from Panera but also be doing work for an online education program in a different state.

Nicole went fishing/kayaking with a friend this morning and Nana is in town, so I had to make myself scarce so that she can have as much time with them as possible. It felt weird to see Nicole getting up and for the both of us to be leaving in the pre-dawn. A kiss goodbye on the street in front of the house in the murky light.

And now, to study!
