Chicken Curry in the crockpot yesterday. The last step was adding a can of coconut milk and some peas. I search all over the kitchen for the can opener. I call Nicole and ask her where it is.
“I feel like I saw it somewhere random….” She says. It has gone the way of the whisk!
Well, actually, the whisk was retrieved from under the couch. So, the can opener is on its own.
We made a deal last night that if either of us sees anything anywhere we would classify as “random”, we are to put it where it goes right then! Funny funny.
I ended up taking a screwdriver and punching it through the lid of the can (no small feat, I might add!) to drain it. Can opener is still on the LAM.
Have I mentioned how excited I am that I am on vacation next week? Yes? Okay then.
And I am spontaneously taking the afternoon off tomorrow to take Nicole out and have a middle of the day date.
I love this time of year.
