Apr. 9th, 2013 12:52 pmI wore sandals and a short sleeve blouse to work today. Spring, Spring, Spring! It is supposed to be nearly 80 degrees today, if not over 80. We’ve spent the last several days in the sunshine with the kids, blissfully letting the sun melt away winter, stress, and responsibility. My skin is already starting to take on the healthy warm glow of outdoor time and my spring fever is in full swing.
There are so many complicated things happening at the moment. Swirling all around in my head and heart. There are also many wonderful things happening, too. Nicole and I are working hard to be helpful and kind to one another – even when we fail, the kids are talking up a storm and their little personalities are emerging in delightful ways as they explore and grow and play outside and in. We are living in the land of toddler tantrums, but the hugs and kisses in between are like gold.
Our 13th anniversary is less than a month away. So much is up in the air – we could be up in Maryland for the occasion… or maybe not, depending on the house search down here for Nicole’s mom. May is going to be a month of day-by-day, I think.
