Nov. 13th, 2012 05:41 amDay 5:
1) The coffee waiting for me nearly every morning when I wake up, lovingly made by my wife after I go to bed.
2) My boys. Yesterday they bowled me over with gratefulness. You know you live a good life when tears of gratitude well up unbidden at random intervals.
3) Successfully making that stir fry last night, my kids and wife eating it up and showing their gratitude for *me*.
I may have over promised myself. That's what happens when Monday blows up and acts like it did yesterday. My "smooth, smooth, pat, pat, it's going to be okay" came out. And yet, rumors of my involvement are greatly exaggerated. You know how it is.
I scheduled the rest of my time off through the rest of the year because - hey! Turns out the end of the year isn't that far away! I have two weeks off at Christmas. And I am SUPER pumped to try not working for that long. I hope I don't go nuts.
