My intentions of not getting sucked in to the Returns last night failed. But I only was able to keep my eyes open until 9:30 and not many races were called by then. Nicole kept the coverage on and kept drawing me into conversation even though I was buried deep in the ipad catching up on my e-zines, email, pinterest and a thousand other frivolous activities to keep my brain busy.

I have no idea how long I’d been asleep when Nicole pounced on my in the dark and gleefully told me Obama was reelected.


So, complete change of topic:

Tell me about your skin care regimens. I am nearly 32 years old and cannot seem to land on something that works. I see all these people around me with smooth, clear skin and I want to figure it out.

I already use Aveeno Ultra Sensitive face wash, Bare Minerals makeup and I make my own anti-oil powder to set it (mineral veil), I disinfect and clean my makeup brushes religiously. I moisturize after washing gently twice a day. What works for you?

Also, make up? Anyone use anything they love? I was told to try to switch from a powder foundation since liquid doesn’t settle in wrinkles and dry patches like powder.

Please. Doesn’t anyone want to talk make up with me? I need something not-serious to talk about! :D PS – Switching to liquid eyeliner was the best choice ever.
