Aug. 27th, 2012 08:25 amThis was an action packed weekend. New washing machine delivered, new couch purchased and moved. I tried a few new recipes that were all successful and single-handedly pulled off family dinner while Nicole moved large and heavy things (with Aunt E) and cleaned.
The boys start with their new sitter today. I am strangely fretful and worried about it being too much for the new babysitter. She doesn’t have a kitchen, so we had to make all of the kids lunches for the week to send with them. I had to get pack n plays all settled this morning in Nicole’s car and the whole time wondered if there was going to be enough space for all that stuff in the sitter’s small apartment below her parent’s house. Fret fret fret. Will the boys be scared? Will they wonder where their Inga is? Fret fret.
I am going to try to convince myself that they will be fine.
A few of my favorite things about the kids lately:
Brenner says dinosaur, Charlotte, tiger, pizza, cheese-it, hello, yay, hi and says MmmmMmmm when he likes the food being served. Brooks climbs so high my heart thumps, says dog, watches the world go by and takes stairs like a champ. He just wants to hold your hand and do it all himself. He’s so brave and funny. His smiles are so bright and beaming.
Life is always changing.
